About this tool
Draw your signature with your finger, a stylus or the mouse and save it as a PNG picture with a transparent background. You can place it on a PDF with Sign PDF or Edit PDF, or add it to a document in any other app. Nothing is uploaded.
How to use it
- Draw your signature in the box. Choose an ink color and a pen thickness.
- Select Save as PNG. The picture is cropped close to your signature and has a transparent background.
- Use Upload signature image in Sign PDF or Edit PDF to place it on a document.

Tips for best results
- Draw slowly and use most of the box.
- Choose dark blue or black so it prints well.
- Press Clear and redraw until you like it.
- Keep the PNG somewhere safe and share it only where needed.

A signature picture is not a certified digital signature. Anyone who has the image could reuse it, so store it carefully.

Why a PNG?
A PNG can have a transparent background, so your signature sits on the page without a white box around it.
Is a drawn signature legally valid?
It is a picture of your signature. Many offices accept it, but some banks, courts and government departments require their own e-signature process. Check your form.
Can I draw it on a computer?
Yes, with the mouse or a touchpad. A touch screen or a stylus usually gives a smoother result.
Is my signature stored anywhere?
No. It is drawn in your browser and saved to your device only. We never receive it.
Your files stay with you
This tool opens and changes your file inside your own browser. Your documents are not uploaded to a server. Keep a copy of your original file, and on a shared computer delete downloaded files when you are done.
