About this tool
Sometimes you only need a few pages of a long document, such as one chapter or the page with a signature. Type the pages you want and the tool saves them as one new PDF, or as separate files in a ZIP.
How to use it
- Choose your PDF.
- Type the pages to keep, for example 1-3, 5, 8-10, and choose how to save them.
- Select Extract pages and download the result.

Good to know
Page numbers refer to the original file. The extracted file is a new copy and your original is not changed.

How do I write the page numbers?
Separate them with commas. A range like 4-7 means pages 4 to 7, and 8- means page 8 to the last page.
What is the difference from Split PDF?
Extract pages is the quick way to keep chosen pages. Split PDF can also cut a document into equal parts.
Is my file uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser.
Can I extract pages in a different order?
Yes. Pages are saved in the order you type them, so 3, 1, 2 gives a PDF that starts with page 3.
Your files stay with you
This tool opens and changes your file inside your own browser. Your documents are not uploaded to a server. Keep a copy of your original file, and on a shared computer delete downloaded files when you are done.
