About this tool
Skip the printer and scanner. Draw your signature with your finger, a stylus or the mouse, or upload a picture of it, then drag it onto the signature line and resize it. You can also type your name and the date. The document is never uploaded.
How to use it
- Choose the PDF and go to the page that needs a signature.
- Select Draw signature and sign in the box, or upload a signature image. Drag it onto the line and resize it with the round handle.
- Use Add text for your name or the date, then select Save PDF.
When this is useful
- Sign a contract, offer letter or leave form without printing.
- Add a signature to an invoice.
- Sign each page of a multi-page document.
- Put your name and the date next to your signature.
Tips for best results
- Draw slowly in the large box. You can resize the signature later.
- Press Clear and try again if you do not like it.
- A PNG picture with a transparent background looks cleanest.
- Place the signature on the line and check it at full size.
Good to know
A drawn or uploaded signature is placed on the page as a picture. It is a visual signature, not a certified digital signature. Typed names in Urdu, Arabic or Hindi are added as a picture too.
Questions and answers
Is this a legally binding signature?
It places an image of your signature on the page, like signing on paper. That is accepted by many employers, schools and offices, but some banks, courts and government departments require their own e-signature process. Check the instructions on your form.
Can I type my name in Urdu?
Yes. Urdu, Arabic and Hindi text is supported and is added as a picture. You can also draw your signature in any language.
Is my document uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser.
Can I sign several pages?
Yes. Go to the next page and add your signature again by drawing it or uploading the same picture.
Your files stay with you
This tool opens and changes your file inside your own browser. Your documents are not uploaded to a server. Keep a copy of your original file, and on a shared computer delete downloaded files when you are done.
