Quick fixes before you write

• The PDF will not open in a tool. It may be password protected or damaged. Remove the password in your PDF app, or open and save it again, then try once more.
• The tool is slow or the page freezes on a phone. Very large files use a lot of memory. Try a computer, or reduce the file first with Extract pages or Compress PDF.
• A photo will not open. Photos in HEIC format may not open on some computers. On an iPhone, choose the photo from your Photos library so it is converted to JPG, or set Camera > Formats to Most Compatible.
• The download did not start. Check that your browser is allowed to download files from this site, and look in your Downloads folder.
• The result is too big for a form. Use Compress PDF with a target size, or Resize image for photos and signatures.

What to include in your message

• The name of the tool you used and what you expected to happen.
• What happened instead, and any message that appeared on the screen.
• Your device and browser, for example iPhone Safari or Windows Chrome.

Please do not attach confidential documents. We can usually find the problem without your file. If we need a sample, we will ask for a simple test file.

Business, advertising and press

For partnership, advertising or press questions, use the same email address and start the subject line with the topic, such as Business or Press.

Because your files are never uploaded, we do not hold copies of them. For questions about cookies, advertising or this site's privacy practices, read the privacy policy or write to us.
