Your files

The tools on this site run inside your web browser. The files you select are processed on your own device and are not uploaded to or stored on our servers. We cannot see or recover them.

Information we collect

We do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect your name, email address or phone number when you use the tools. Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages visited, for security and to keep the site running.

Hosting and analytics

This site is served through Cloudflare, which delivers the pages and protects the site from abuse. To do this, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and browser details when you visit.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits, page views, countries and page speed. Cloudflare describes this service as privacy-first: it does not use cookies for this purpose and does not track you across other websites. We use these totals to see which pages help people and to keep the site fast.

Cookies and advertising

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info. Your browser may also store small amounts of data on your device, for example so a file you chose on the home page can be passed to the tool you select. This data stays on your device and is removed automatically.

Code libraries and fonts

The open-source libraries that read and edit PDF files (pdf-lib, PDF.js and JSZip) are hosted on our own domain. Using a tool therefore does not send your IP address to a code delivery network, and your files are not sent anywhere.

Our pages load the fonts Bricolage Grotesque and Figtree from Google Fonts. This means your browser contacts Google's font servers, and Google may receive your IP address and browser details when a page loads.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
